Appropriate Swimwear Policy
Appropriate swimwear must be worn at all times to maintain a clean, safe and inviting environment for all our patrons. Clothing, other than swimwear, can create problems with water clarity, pool disinfectant and our water filtration systems.
Oakey Aquatic Centre offers a wide variety of features ensuring there is something for everyone to enjoy, including the 50m swimming pool and the toddler splash pool and play area.
50m Swimming Pool
The Oakey Aquatic Centre's 50-metre pool offers numerous swimming options catering to swimmers of all abilities. The swimming pool has 6 lanes, allowing flexibility around our programs and ensuring that our members and guests have plenty of lap swimming space.
This pool begins at 1.3m at the shallow end and gradually deepens to 3.7m at the deep end.
Toddler Pool
The Toddler Pool is fully shaded and is fitted with water features which is sure to keep all children entertained for hours.
